Accounting Services and Bursar Operations

• NEW - All Fall 2009 schedules must be paid for or have payment arrangements made by 4:00pm on August 20, 2009 (last day of regular registration). Schedules will be deleted (washed) that are not paid for or have payment plans by August 20, 2009 at 4:00pm.
• Effective with the Fall 2009 semester, the LSU Board of Supervisors approved a tuition increase of $85 for full-time students. The Board also approved an increase of $63 in the non-resident fee for full-time non-resident students. These increases will be prorated for students taking fewer than 12 hours.
• Online Payment Options
  • Financial Aid: If you have ALL your tuition and fees covered by any type of exemption or financial aid (including loans), you do NOT have to see a cashier. You can complete the payment process by accepting and applying the aid on your Award Letter through IQ Web/Self-Service.
  • Automatic Payment Plan: LSU at Alexandria is offering an Automatic Payment Plan through FACTS Tuition Management. The plan makes use of automatic drafts from your checking, savings, or credit card. This is a convenient online service that can be done from home, work, or school through IQ Web/Self-Service and e-Cashier. NOTE: PAYMENT PLANS ARE ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS OPTION.
  • Payment in Full: You can also pay your balance in full through FACTS Tuition Management by Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) or credit card. This payment option can be completed through IQ Web/Self-Service and e-Cashier from home, work, or school.
• The timeframe when student credit balances for Fall 2009 are scheduled to be available at the bookstore is August 10 through August 28, 2009. The last day to use a credit balance to charge at the bookstore is August 28^th.
• Student loans will be posted as a credit to your student account. Student loan checks can no longer be picked up during fee payment or at the Accounting window. For students who have accepted their financial aid and it has been credited to your student account, excess aid refunds (financial aid amounts in excess of tuition and fees assessed and other charges) will start being mailed or direct deposited to Campus Federal accounts during the third week of Fall 2009 classes. Please allow 14 days from the refund transaction date on your account to receive your check before contacting Accounting Services. NO CHECKS will be disbursed from the Accounting window.
